💫Finnish Actor, Jaakko Ohtonen Cast as the New Jesus in Passion of the Christ Sequels 💫

✨Finnish actor Jaakko Ohtonen has risen as Mel Gibson’s choice to play Jesus Christ in the upcoming two-part sequel to The Passion of the Christ. To date, Ohtonen’s most notable credits are in the Netflix series The Last Kingdom and Vikings: Valhalla.

Ohtonen will replace Jim Caviezel, who portrayed Jesus in the original Passion of the Christ film.

The Resurrection of the Christ: Part One is set for release on Good Friday, March 26th, 2027, with Part Two following on 40 days later on Ascension Day, May 6th, 2027. The first sequel will pick up three days after the events of the first film.

One of the Pilgrims this November asked me "Its incredible that many Finnish people come onto this trip, how come"? I didn't have an answer, but one other Voyager then answered with: “Light comes from the North.” ✨

She felt this deeply, not as a concept, but as a knowing. And when she spoke it, something in me recognised it too. 🤍

There does seem to be a reason why so many from the North have been drawn into this pilgrimage. Why so many from Finland and the Nordic lands have felt the call to walk this path. Why so many have encountered a Holy warmth within their hearts calling, within their spirit, as if the codes within them were calling out, LUKE 19:40 "But He answered and said to them, “I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.” The Alpha and Omega signs being discovered, a new Chamber found above the Kings Chamber (Details to come in 2026) Many, reaching for Jesus again, or for the first time personally connecting to him, through this journey. Why something ancient is stirring in hearts that have long been quiet. 🕊️

For Anna and me, this path also began quietly. It began with a dream, Anna's soul heard a Holy Heavenly song, literally, which Emel was singing, with those within the Great Pyramid early 2024. It began with a song that asked to be sung. It began with a sense that something was waiting to be remembered. 🎶

That song was not meant to stay in one place. It was meant to move. To vibrate outward. To awaken something in others. To become a kind of beacon of light!

This is how God often works. Not with noise, but with resonance. Not with force, but with invitation. 🙏

What has been unfolding through this journey does not belong to one person, one country, or one group. It belongs to the body of souls who feel the stirring and choose to respond. It is not about being chosen above others, but about being willing to listen. 🤍

For some, this pilgrimage has been a return to Jesus. For others, it has been a first meeting. For many, it has been a homecoming. 🕊️ A remembering of who they are. A soft awakening of the light within. A quiet yes to something that had been calling for a long time. ✨
