Emel Lauviah Michael is a Sound Therapist, Singer-Songwriter, Author, Vocal Coach & Top-line Songwriter.

Emel started singing at the age of 8 and through her 20’s she developed a career which led her to collaborate with legendary Quincy Jones and renowned artist Judie Tzuke and currently songwriting for the Cystalfighters band.
Emel is currently in service as a vocal coach and musical mentor. She has created tailor-made vocal development programs, for all singing levels, rooted in the techniques and practices developed from her time with the London Community Gospel Choir. She has run a Chirripo Gospel Choir in Costa Rica to help encourage women and men, to sing together to lift hearts, singing hymns and songs of praise! With a showcase for the community with all the singers to celebrate the end of their workshop (See photos below)
Her vocal students have enjoyed learning and growing with their techniques, and confidence.
Emel's passion for healing and sound therapy saw her selected to conduct a successful seminar on The Transformative Power Of Music at the Biohack Summit in Amsterdam (2022) from where she then ventured across Estonia, Finland and the UK developing her craft as a sound therapist.
Currently, she is the co-creator and owner of Alma Music Temple in Costa Rica. Now based in Liverpool UK hosting Community Song Circles, Cacao Ceremonies and Pre-Wedding Sound Baths. See more of what we offer and have done
With her partner, Dermot McNeill, she leads audiences in devotional music, and sound healing sessions, and as well as practices as a qualified herbal practitioner, she develops her herbal therapy practice.
Through her music, books, coaching, and community initiatives, Emel Michael is fast becoming known for her methods in harnessing a holistic guide to human transformation through spiritual practice, the healing properties of sound and eating healthy food.
